The Company has established "Respect for and Compliance with Human Rights Principles" as a key topic in the Code of Business Conduct, emphasizing the importance of respecting and adhering to human rights principles that encompass labor practices, women's rights, children's rights, and human dignity, including individual freedom and equality protected by law.

Furthermore, the Company prioritizes treating all stakeholders with equality, respect, and dignity without discrimination based on personal relationships or differences in race, ethnicity, skin color, ancestry, religion, social status, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical characteristics or appearance, language accent, political views, personal opinions, property, or any other status. This includes respecting and promoting children's and women's rights, opposing child labor, and eliminating all forms of discrimination against women.

Human Rights Due Diligence

With our unwavering commitment to promoting and protecting human rights across all aspects of our business operations, the Company has established a comprehensive human rights due diligence plan, expected to commence implementation in 2025. We have conducted preliminary studies of fundamental principles and identified appropriate implementation approaches, comprising six key steps as follows:

  1. Scope Definition - Identify all business activities and stakeholders to comprehensively analyze and determine relevant human rights issues
  2. Human Rights Risk Assessment - Analyze the severity levels of potential impacts and likelihood of occurrence to prioritize risks across different issues
  3. Control Mechanism Implementation - Develop internal and external control measures to prevent or mitigate risks and ensure that impacts remain at low or acceptable levels
  4. Monitoring and Review - Establish appropriate methodologies, procedures, and reporting systems for continuous monitoring of human rights risks
  5. Remediation Mechanism Consideration - Prepare readiness for cases where human rights violations occur to enable prompt corrective action and remediation
  6. Communication and Disclosure - Transparently report risk issues, prevention measures, impact mitigation, corrective actions, and operational achievements to stakeholders
