Bangkok Airways and Sukhothai Airport Inspire Youth to Dream Big in the 2nd Year of "Wings of Inspiration: Creating Learning Opportunities" Programme

Bangkok, 27 December 2024 — Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, through its Corporate Sustainability Division and Blue Volunteers, in partnership with Sukhothai Airport and the Bangkok Air Aviation Training Centre (BATC), has successfully continued its ‘Wings of Inspiration: Creating Learning Opportunities’ programme at Sukhothai Airport for the second consecutive year. The initiative, part of the airline’s ‘Connect Your Happiness’ campaign, aims to support experiential learning and emphasises the importance of Learning by Doing through a variety of interactive activities.
This year, over 50 primary school students from Wat Khlong Krajong School and children of FlyerBonus members participated in the event. The programme offered hands-on exposure to aviation careers through engaging learning stations. Participants explored aviation-related professions via the Airport Tour station, which included insights into runways, flight simulators, and the roles of fire and rescue staff. Students also had the opportunity to experience the daily responsibilities of cabin crew and visit Sukhothai Airport’s unique on-site zoo.
The activities were designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation to pursue their dream careers in aviation. The event was held recently at Sukhothai Airport.
