Bangkok Airways Hosts Opening Ceremony of the 69th Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) Assembly of Presidents
Bangkok / 17 November 2025 – Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, in its capacity as Chair of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) for 2025, hosted the official opening ceremony of the 69th AAPA Assembly of Presidents. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport.
On this occasion, Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited and Mr. Subhas Menon, Director General of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA), welcomed attendees and jointly opened the event. The ceremony was attended by senior executives from leading airlines across the Asia-Pacific region, along with key representatives from government and private-sector organizations in the aviation and tourism industries. Participants exchanged perspectives and strategic directions for driving sustainable growth in the future of regional aviation.
The ceremony took place recently at the BDMS Connect Center, the Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok.
