Go Green Samui! Bangkok Airways Organizes the 8th Annual “Coconut Planting for Koh Samui” Restoring ecosystems for a sustainable environment and community

Koh Samui / 10 October 2025 – Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth (6th from left),President, and Mrs. Ariya Prasarttong-Osoth, (5th from left), Board Director and Chairman - CSR Working Committee, along with the executive team and Blue Volunteers, recently organized the “Planting Coconut Trees for Koh Samui” activity under the ongoing project “Love Earth, Save Earth: Love Samui, Save the Coconut Tree.” Now in its 8th year, the initiative reaffirms the airline’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The event took place on Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province.
This activity is part of the “Low Carbon Skies by Bangkok Airways” campaign, which aims to pave the way toward a low-carbon future in aviation. The initiative seeks to reduce the environmental impact of business operations while preserving ecosystems, restoring green spaces, and enhancing the natural richness of Koh Samui. It also contributes to building a sustainable environmental and social value chain through the planting of coconut trees-an iconic symbol of Koh Samui-while promoting tourism and supporting the local way of life for future generations.
