Bangkok Airways IOSA Registration renewed

Bangkok – Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited has successfully certified by the audit procedures for conformity to the International Air Transport Association’s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) for the sixth time. Renewal certification is valid for two-year term, effective from now - November 2020.

Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways PLC commented that, “Bangkok Airways, as a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) must be re-evaluated and accredited for IOSA every two years. We always successfully passed the audit procedures and have our IOSA certificate renewed since our registration in 2008. The IOSA Audit covers eight functional and operational areas of Bangkok Airways accordingly; Organization and Management System, Flight Operations, Operational Control and Flight Dispatch, Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance, Cabin Operations, Ground Handling Operations, Cargo Operations and Security Management.”

The IOSA certification audit is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. IOSA uses internationally recognized audit principles and is designed to conduct audits in a standardized and consistent manner.
