Message from Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
In 2024, the global tourism situation, including Thailand, has gradually improved. The demand for travel and tourism has increased significantly, as reflected in the operating results of our airline business and subsidiaries, which have shown growth in performance. At the same time, the Company remains committed to sustainable business practices for the maximum benefit of all stakeholders.

Bangkok Airways is committed to developing toward our goal of becoming a "sustainable airline" by driving business operations under ESG policies across all dimensions. Our environmental strategy for 2024 involved launching the "Low Carbon Skies by Bangkok Airways" initiative, aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions from our entire business operations, particularly in flight operations, which account for the largest proportion of our carbon dioxide emissions.
Furthermore, to demonstrate our commitment and support for the use of clean energy fuels to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, in June 2024, Bangkok Airways partnered with PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited to pilot the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) on our Samui-Bangkok route.
Bangkok Airways has been selected as one of the sustainable stocks for 2024 in the "SET ESG Ratings 2024" with a BBB rating in the Services sector by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The Company also received a 4-star corporate governance assessment rating, or "Very Good CG Scoring," from the Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD). These recognitions reflect the Company's potential in conducting business under our organizational sustainability covenant "Connect Your Happiness," focusing on aligning operations across all dimensions with sustainability principles to achieve our set objectives, build confidence, and meet the needs of all stakeholders.
In 2024, the Company has continued to maintain world standard, by winning two SKYTRAX World Airlines Awards as World Best Regional Airline and Best Regional Airline in Asia for 8 consecutive years and also included in " Top 100 Airlines 2024", ranking at number 27.
In addition, the Company expanded network of airline partners, by signing codeshare agreements with 3 additional of airlines e.g. Lufthansa, Swiss International Airline. Consequently at present the Company has 30 airline partners. The cooperation mentioned above not only provided more convenience to passengers but also enhanced effectiveness in airline connection to cover countries worldwide.
Regarding subsidiary companies, Bangkok Air Catering Company Limited has also continuously expanded its customer base. During the past year, BAC provided catering services to an addition of 8 airlines e.g. Air AsiaX and Swiss Air etc.
