Bangkok Air Aviation Training Center and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) sign partnership to set up IATA Regional Aviation Training Partner in Thailand
Bangkok / 20 March 2019 – Recently, Bangkok Air Aviation Training Center Co., Ltd. or BATC, led by Captain AM. Dechit Charoenwong, Managing Director (Left) and International Air Transport Association (IATA), represented by Ms.Stephanie Siouffi, IATA Training Director (Right) has signed a partnership agreement on the establishment of IATA Regional Aviation Training Partner in Bangkok. The signing was also attended by the guest of honor, Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (Center) at Bangkok Airways Headquarters, Vibhavadirangsit Road.
Bangkok Air Aviation Training Center (BATC), a subsidiary of Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, is the first and only company in Thailand to be appointed by IATA as IATA Regional Aviation Training Partner which could raise the standard of aviation training to an international level. The training center will provide two methods of learning which are classroom learning and e-learning that use a combination of latest instructional media that allows learners to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge in order to further enhance and develop aviation industry in the region.
