Bangkok Airways provides full cooperation to Ministry of Health in Cambodia on COVID-19 case

Bangkok / 17 March 2020 – Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited received a report on 16 March 2020 from Ministry of Health in Cambodia of a confirmed case of COVID-19 who had traveled on Bangkok Airways flight from Bangkok to Phnom Penh on 9 March 2020.

Bangkok Airways provided full cooperation to Ministry of Health in Cambodia and strictly followed precaution measures in compliance with World Health Organization (WHO). The operating flight crew and ground personnel who may have possible risks have been quarantined for 14 days as part of the measures announced by the Thai Ministry of Public Health. The aircraft operated on this flight has been grounded and undergone high-level disinfection procedures since 10 March 2020 (based on the airline’s disinfection cleaning plan)

The airline continues to implement disinfection cleaning in compliance with Thai Ministry of Public Health. Bangkok Airways is committed on its value to prioritize the health and safety of our passengers and crew and will fully cooperate with related authorities both in Thailand and Cambodia.
